Why Neurodiversity at Work Matters

Recognizing and embracing neurodiversity is essential for building stronger, more adaptive organizations. Teams that include a wide range of cognitive perspectives drive innovation and excel in complex problem solving. Creating inclusive environments allows teams to contribute their best work without the risk of judgement or bias. It's a strategic decision that benefits all stakeholders. When inclusion is built into the foundation of how work is structured, and how people are valued, everyone has a better chance to thrive. 


Given that an estimated 15 to 20 percent of the U.S population identifies as neurodivergent, it's almost certain that every workplace includes employees with cognitive differences; many of which whom have never disclosed their identities or support needs.



What Makes IB Different

  • The S.A.F.E. Score Framework ® : Our proprietary framework offers a structured way to measure inclusion across workplace systems. It intergrates research, industrial and organizational psychology and design to evaluate both organizational structures and employee lived experiences, providing clear insights into where safety & equity is present and where it is not.
  • Not checklists, but systemic change : We address the root cause of exclusion, leadership practices, culture, performance systems, and talent pipelines; to reduce barriers, and build environements where everyone thrives.



How We Serve Both Ends of the Spectrum

At IB, we approach inclusion from two connected paths.


        1. Organizational Transformation

We help organizations reimagine culture, systems, and leadership through a universal design lens. To moving from reaction to redesign™. 

Through research informed strategy we:

  • Provide neuro-inclusive leadership development and executive coaching.
  • Provide diagnostic assessments, and universal design implementation.
  • Facilitate customized actionable training and workshops that build awareness and accountability.
  • Evaluate policies, processes, culture, and leadership practices.
  • Provide long term partnership providing ongoing training, resources, and neuro-inclusive accommodation support.


        2. Individual Empowerment

We coach neurodivergent professionals through the realities of workplace disclosure, accommodation, and advocacy.

Our coaching and tools help individuals: 

  • To strategize disclosure decisions with intention.
  • Navigate the reasonable accommodation process confidently.
  • Understand Job Matching in connection with their neurotype.
  • Align professional goals with well-being.
  • Clarify what disclosure safety looks like for them
